Quote 7

An Intelligent Enemy Is Better Than Stupid Friend

I feel that is good  to have a intelligent friend because, that person will always have something for you to wonder about. Such as if they tell you that they have something that will surprise you and that person is pretty intelligent than you will be worrying about what they are going to do. However, let's say this person was not intelligent at all but rather stupid than you wouldn't be worrying about anything so technically you won't be learning anything if that person was stupid.
I feel that it is not good to have a stupid friend because, that persons personality or there stupidity can always rub on you if you are not careful and you are around that person all the time. Such as if you are with this person and the enemy that you have (intelligent person) say they are out to get or have something that they are planning on doing to you you're stupid friend will not be able to help you do anything. So when you choose your friends you should always make sure you choose them wisely. Also make sure that when you have a enemy that person is not stupid or if they are you won't have anything to worry about.

Holiday Card Project

1. What is Holiday Card Project?

The purpose of the Holiday Card Project is to create holiday cards for people who hospitalized during the holiday season. The idea behind the project is to simply try to bring little cheer to those who are undergoing hospital stay.
2. Exactly who receives the cards?
The cards will be distributed to both US and international hospitals. THe cards will be delivered in person by a representative. The patient who receives the cards age in range from children to seniors and have illness or injuries that vary from mild to terminal.
3. What should I write in the a card?
You can be as creative as you'd like. Just remember the degree of these for patients will vary so it is important to be cheerful. Some suggested greetings include " Hope you're feeling better," Thinking of You," or " Have a nice Day.' Try to stay away from " Get Well Soon"as it might not be appropriate for all patients. Remember to include a message of Happy Holidays."
4. Will the patients know who sent the cards?
The only way a patient will know who it is from is if you sign your name. if you would like to send your card anonymously you can.
5. Can I send more than one card?
Absolutely! However, remember that quality is better than quantity. Sending one quality card that you put time and effect into is better than sending two cards that were thrown together.
6. Is there a specific size of medium for the card?
There is no specific size for the cards. Use your best judgement. You can design and decorate cards by drawing, cloring, or painting. You can use glitter, construction paper, cardboard, markers, crayons, colored pencils, ribbons, and etc. To make your card special you can also design your card using Photoshop. In Photoshop please use 4*6 or 5*7 for your dimension.

Quote 7

Knowledge is like a garden, if it is not cultivated, it can not be harvested

I think that this means when you know something such as knowledge you have to use the knowledge that you have whenever there is a chance. Also if you know the knowledge it is best to add to your knowledge or maybe you might say water your knowledge you have like a garden.
For example, I know a lot of things and if I don't use this knowledge with certain things than I can loose it. Such as I have a little sister and she doesn't know as much as i do, so i can use my knowledge to teach her what she doesn't know. A way that I can learn things or add to my knowledge is by learning new things. Such as my little sister knows or is learning spanish and she is learning french so she can use her knowledge to expand mines. So to me this quote can go both ways by learning something new or by teaching someone else something new.

A Person Who Knows proverbs can reconcile Differences-Quote 6

I think that this means if you know many quotes and you have a problem or difference with a friend that can help you with it. Such as if I am having a problem with my friend and I think of a quote that I might have known for a very long time it can come in handy. I can think of this and it may just be able to solve my problem.

Another quote can help me too one day to solve another problem that not with a friend. Such as if I just met a person and it just so happen that they were really mean or extra rude, another quote can come in handy. I can think of this quote and it can help me to find a way to handle this situation. So to me quotes can come up helpful in a lot of ways.

The Full speaks The Wise Person Listens-quote 5

I think that this means that a person has a problem and want to talk about with a person than that wise person could be the one for them. Such as if I had a problem and i wanted someone to talk to that wise or I might say a friend they can be that person that I want to talk to and help me with my problem.
Another example is that maybe that wise or that friend that listened to me one day the y need me to listen to them. Then I could be the wise person for them or the friend and listen to them and maybe even help them with their problem. So to me this quote can go either way meaning that if I have a problem than the wise person can be a help to me . Then also if my friend have a problem I can listen to them and maybe even help them with their problem that they may have.

It is better to be Loved Than to be feared-quote 4

I think it is better to be loved than to feared because when you fear someone you don't have the time to get closer to them. Also you won't ever know how that person is or how nice they can be.
For example, if I had a friend and they were suppose to be my friend but in reality I was fearing them and they were fearing me than we would not be able to even be real friends. The reason why is because I wouldn't be myself around them and they wouldn't be there self around me. We could never be real friends because I would be acting thew way i think they want me to act and they will be acting the way they think I want them to act. So it is better for you to be loved than to be feared. I say this because, than me my friend can be the best of friends. We will be able to laugh at things, and be myself and my friend can be their self . So therefore we will be the best of friends and maybe even friends for life.

A Brother/Sister is Like A Shoulder

This means to me that a sister or brother is always suppose to be there for another brother or sister. Maybe because one day someone in my class may just be upset one morning and maybe I can say something to make them happy. This could also mean that you could just lean on someone for help or maybe i might just be going through something one day and somebody could help me.

A log may stay in the water for 10 years but it will never turn to a corcadile

What this means to me is that when we believe in something that you must be as stiff as that piece of wood. It also means that, you must be strong because, when you think about it a person not going to change  what they believe in for you. So, why change yourself for them.

For Example I am one of Jehovah Witnesses so what I believe is a lot different from others. Now one day someone may tell me that I can do something for just one time it won't hurt. However, if it where them would they do what I do for just one time? I doubt it. So it won't be okay for me to do what they do for just one time. Just as well it will not be okay if they go past their believes to do something that I do.

Knowledge is Better Than Riches

Knowledge is better than riches to me means that when you learn something it is better than getting money. I Believe that it is useful in everyday life. For Example if you had a bet with someone on how much knowledge you knew on a certain subject you would win. I believe this because if yo follow the quote before than you would because one day you  choose to learn more than to get money.

08-09 School Year

It's seems as though my goals for this year are to get to know everyone, as far as social goal. Maybe, though, my other goals are to make honors and continue to get all A's. As a result I did accomplish my goals from last year. Therefore in order to do this I always studied except for on my Vocab, I did get a B. Clearly, I didn't study for Vocab.

I believe that the benefits of attending New Media Tech Charter School is that I get to meet new people. For instance also I get to be in a new environment. Therefore last year my best subject was math. However my worst subject was vocab. Surprisingly I did get a A in Vocab last marking period.
